No unavoidable obstacles. All-access trail to other optional trails. Travels through a mostly young forest, with glimpses of the lake at times. No major stream crossings.
Mostly open "lollipop" loop with a few short climbs and descents, and a covered bridge. Longest trail in the Jackrabbit system. At the "tip" of the loop, you're only about 1/10 mile north of the GA state line.
Small obstacles such as rock crossings and tighter turns. Comes close to the ridgetop where deer like to forage. You'll hear other hikers and riders on the Central Loop, which is not far down the slope from you at most times.
