Cold Prong Pond Loop Trail

Difficulty Rating: 0.3
Steepness: Climbs Gently
Tread Condition: Few Obstacles
Description
This is a short, easy loop around what either used to be or only sometimes is a pond. Whether or not a pond exists, there is definitely a grassy, weedy opening in the forest with a small stream flowing out of one side. The loop is nearly level with only a very small climb up to the parking area, so it makes a good leg-stretcher. Wildflowers abound. A nice addition to a segment of the Tanawha Trail if this is your starting point.
